Qualification Details

- A PhD (or is about to finish the PhD soon) degree in computer science, information systems, AI, information sciences, medical informatics, systems engineering or a related technical discipline;
- Experience with academic teaching (and possibly with a university teaching qualification);
- An excellent command of English
Responsibilities/Job Description
The position is established within the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) section, which is part of the department Engineering Systems and Services (ESS). The ESS department hosts expertise in ICT (AI, distributed systems, IT architectures, digital government), energy and industry, health systems, logistics, and mobility. By combining our domain expertise with systems thinking, ESS addresses socio-technical challenges, such as digital innovations for energy, industry, health, logistics and mobility systems. In this position, you will:
- Contribute to the educational programmes of the department
- Perform research in the field of Digital Health Systems
- Contribute to the organization and management of education in the faculty

A tenure-track position is offered for six years. In the fifth year we’ll decide if you will be offered a permanent faculty position, based on performance indicators agreed upon at the start of the appointment.
