Admission requirements
To get into a PhD program, you must have a second-cycle (Master's) degree or at least 240 credits, at least 60 of which must come from second-cycle courses.

Language requirements for PhD admission at SLU
Those who want to pursue a PhD at SLU must meet certain English language standards. This is English B/English 6 for students in Swedish upper secondary schools. Or, applicants must have an English language qualification that is recognized around the world (TOEFL, IELTS, and Cambridge ESOL). Find more information about the English language requirements.
The Educational Testing Service must send all TOEFL test results directly to SLU (ETS). SLU institution code is 1185.
