Qualification Details

To qualify for an employment as a postdoctor you must have a PhD degree or a foreign degree equivalent to a PhD degree in immunology or physiology. The PhD degree must have been obtained no more than three years prior to the application deadline. The three year period can be extended due to circumstances such as sick leave, parental leave, duties in labour unions, etc.

We are looking for a motivated candidate with a robust background in immunology and/or physiology. The applicant must be proficient in English speech and writing and have at least one published first-author article in a well-renowned scientific journal within the field. You are expected to be able to work independently, but will also need to actively cooperate with other members of the group. The applicant is further expected to actively take part in supervising new group members and students.

Additional qualifications

Documented work or certificates from work with research animals is a merit. Experience from work on functional studies of immune cells from both mouse and man, and different imaging methods, both in vitro and in vivo, are desirable but not required. Personal qualifications will be of great significance in the evaluation process.

Responsibilities/Job Description

We are now looking for a qualified and motivated postdoctor who will primarily focus on increasing our understanding of some of the new immune regulatory mechanisms which have been discovered in the lab. The project will involve high-resolution imaging of different animal models, in vitro work, and work with large proteomic- and mRNA-sequencing datasets.
