Qualification Details

The position requires a solid background in computer vision and machine learning. Knowledge in human computation and crowdsourcing is a plus. Successful candidates must have demonstrated their ability to publish in top tier venues including CVPR, ICCV, NeurIPS, and ICLR.

Responsibilities/Job Description

The postdoc will be located at the University of Copenhagen Department of Computer Science - DIKU, which is part of the Copenhagen ELLIS unit. The research will be conducted in collaboration with the Pioneer Centre for Artificial Intelligence and Visipedia.

The postdoc’s duties will include engagement with experts in domains including biodiversity, medicine, design, and journalism, and participation in Visipedia-led community efforts including the Fine Grained Visual Categorization (FGVC) workshop.

The new pioneer centre for artificial intelligence (AI Pioneer Centre) research will be opening in Copenhagen at the end of 2021.
