Qualification Details

HBO / WO level (or equivalent), fluent oral and written Dutch and English. The candidate should have an awareness of intercultural sensibilities, understand university level educational processes, be autonomous and self-sufficient, be able to network and multi-task and be a creative thinker with strategic insight.

Responsibilities/Job Description

The European Wind Energy Master (EWEM) is a joint education programme that is offered by a consortium of four European universities. The TU Delft is the secretary of the consortium and is therefore also the home of the central coordinator.

More information about the programme:

Tasks include:

- Coordinating and monitoring the programme.

- Acting as the central contact person for the consortium partners, the study association, external partners and students.

- Preparing board meetings and being part of the decision-making processes.

- Preparing financial statements per semester.

- Being responsible for alumni policy and relations.

- Promoting the programme and driving student recruitment .

- Driving online promotional activities.

- Coordinating participation in in-house information events

- Managing the external partner network

- Ensuring the embedding of programme content and administration within the TU Delft organization.

There is scope for some individual creativity in this role.

Faculty of Aerospace Engineering

The faculty of Aerospace Engineering at Delft University of Technology is one of the world's largest faculties devoted entirely to Aerospace engineering.

It has several master tracks in Space, Aeronautics and Aerospace materials and include the track related to the master in Wind Energy. The faculty has around 2,500 BSc and MSc students, 225 PhD candidates and 27 professors supported by scientific staff.

The European Wind Energy Master

The European Wind Energy Master (EWEM) is a joint education programme dedicated to world-leading-wind energy research support and offered by a consortium of four European universities (University of Oldenburg, TU Delft, NTNU & DTU).

The EWEM program is a joint master in four tracks encompassing the wind energy conversion chain: Wind Farms & Atmospheric Physics, Rotor Design, Offshore Engineering and Electric Power Systems. The educational programme started under the umbrella of Erasmus Mundus and is supporting courses and Msc degrees since 2012, and has almost 300 graduates since then.

The participating universities are: Carl von Ossietzky Universität Oldenburg, Delft University of Technology, Norwegian University of Science and Technology and the Technical University of Denmark. Every track is split over 2 partner universities and embedded in their own Master programmes. The students are awarded a Double Degree, one of each participating university, after successfully finalizing the MSc.

Working conditions

  • A salary in scale 10 (with a maximum gross monthly salary of € 4,490) in accordance with the Collective Labour Agreement of Dutch Universities, plus 8% holiday allowance and a year-end bonus of 8.3%.
