Responsibilities/Job Description

This position is aimed at the development of mesoscopic materials and devices, based on thin film and heterostructures, typically prepared by Pulsed Laser Deposition (PLD), sputtering, or other thin film techniques. Basic thin film device patterning, materials characterization (e.g., structural, electrical and magnetic) and devices characterization must be methods with which you should master. You should be able form a collaborative relationship with colleagues, within the department, across DTU and outside DTU.

An important task will be to conduct research at the highest possible level by attracting external funding from public and private sources. You must disseminate the research findings, both for scientific peers as well as for students and the public domain.
