Qualification Details

Requirements for this position:

  • documented experience in project management;

Responsibilities/Job Description

The present position is within the Department of Women’s and Children’s health and the research group International Child Health and Nutrition (https://www.kbh.uu.se/research/international-child-health-and-nutrition/), which hosts the Swedish Research Council funded project, PREVENT.

The PREVENT project aims to co-design, implement and test a tele-health coaching intervention with community outreach for the reduction of cardio-metabolic risk among high-risk population in Region Uppsala. It builds on a previous EU project and uses a mixed methods approach comprising a co-design component and an implementation trial. The interdisciplinary consortium comprises two higher education institutions (Uppsala University and Karolinska Institutet), Region Uppsala and the Swedish Industrial Design Foundation, specializing in co-design for system and policy transformations.

Duties

  • Be responsible for managing the project and coordinating the activities to ensure that deliverables are met intime and at a high quality
  • Be responsible for developing relevant documents such as study protocols, studyplans, and material for ethics committee submissions and informed consent procedures
  • Be responsible for setting up appropriate storage of documents and data in accordance with laws and ethical approvals
  • Monitor recruitment and retention, compliance with the study protocols, and ensure high quality data collection procedures and that data is stored in accordance with laws and in a way that highest scientific quality is reached
  • Collaborate with researchers and students in our project group and other partners to set up activities
  • Set-up and manage REDCap and other data collection and management systems for the project
  • Se responsible for collection, transport and appropriate storage of biological samples from study participants
  • Contribute to process improvements ideas and implementation in our Standard Operating Procedures
  • Other tasks as decided by the project leader
