Your key responsibilities include, (1) defining a vision for AD-EYE and creating a feasible technical roadmap consistent with the vision, (2) represent AD-EYE in technical discussions with stakeholders, (3) coordinate the development of AD-EYE including management of requirements, backlog and resource planning, and (4) establish and maintain relationships with industrial partners, research groups and suppliers while proactively finding new connections.

About the Project

AD-EYE started with a focus on automated vehicle and environment simulation to support research on architectures and safety. So far, some 17 person years have been invested into the effort and now that we have scaled up, about 10 person years will be added every year. The AD-EYE effort has grown to encompass vehicular and ITS integration and digital twin development, driven by opportunities in enhancing safety and innovation made possible by collaborative cyber-physical systems. Core assets of AD-EYE include a software base, commercial simulation tools, powerful computers for simulation, and specialized embedded hardware for particular tasks.
