Qualification Details

  • The applicant is required to have a PhD degree in Health technology, Biomedical engineering or similar. The applicant must have completed the degree no more than three years before the end of the application period.
  • Knowledge in Biomedical engineering, Reliable acquisition and processing of physiological signals, Programming for complex real-time sensing, analysis and feedback is required.
  • The applicant should be fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Merit

Knowledge in App-development, Electronics, Gamification, Physiology, Physical activity, and training is a merit for the position.

Responsibilities/Job Description

The postdoc will work on developing new measurement methods and new measurement system prototypes supporting fall prevention. An important part of the work is to evaluate the methods and techniques in studies involving larger groups of test persons, both healthy persons and persons with different diagnoses.

This postdoc will have a key role in development and evaluation of research prototypes applied in health contexts and will work closely with other researchers in the team but also with staff in the health care sector and industry.

The position is a temporary employment of 2 years.
