Qualification Details
The applicant must have a doctorate in molecular biology, biochemistry, biotechnology or similar and have published in recognized international peer-review journals. The applicant must be fluent in English and Swedish in speech and writing. The applicant must have a good problem-solving ability to good ability to work together with researchers, teachers and other university staff. Previous practical and theoretical experience in protein biochemistry and recombinant protein production and purification is a requirement. Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities.
Responsibilities/Job Description
We are looking for a postdoc for a project in protein engineering and functionalization of protein-based materials. The work consists of protein engineering, cloning, protein expression in E.coli, purification and characterization these. Part of the project involves the use of microfluidic chips. Teaching is also included in the tasks to a minor extent.
