Our research The Scheibye-Knudsen group is part of the Center for Healthy Aging, University of Copenhagen in the Mærsk Tower. In addition to this post doc position, the group comprises of 4 assistant professors, 1 postdoctoral researcher and 3 PhD students with extensive in silico, in vitro and in vivo expertise utilizing animal models, gene editing, and in high throughput approaches such as high content microscopy and omics investigations. Lab generated data is routinely analyzed through AI-assisted pipelines such as novel cellular senescence classifiers and fully automated animal tracking. In addition, logistical aspects are already in place to promote the successful and rapid implementation of our program, including mouse facilities, fly labs and cell culture labs.
