Qualification Details

To qualify as a PhD student, you must have a master's level degree corresponding to at least 240 higher education credits in computer science, computer engineering, HCI, industrial design, or other topics relevant to this project (or: BSc 4 years' honor program). Knowledge of AR and VR technologies is an advantage. The position requires sound verbal and written communication skills in English. Chalmers offers Swedish courses.

Responsibilities/Job Description

Your major responsibilities are to pursue your own doctoral studies. You are expected to develop your own scientific concepts and communicate the results of your research verbally and in writing. The position generally also includes teaching on Chalmers' undergraduate level or performing other duties corresponding to 20 per cent of working hours.

You will work closely with supervisors in their respecive areas of research (HCI, HRI, accessibility).System design and development, followed by empirical evaluation. Writing papers and submit to the conferences ACM CHI, ACM HRI, ACM HAI, and corresponding journals.
