About the Project

The main research topics revolve around, but not exclusively, the two bigger founding projects. Using participatory mapping techniques, public surveys, and interviews, the applicant will delve into the social barriers and acceptability of transformative change in both polices and decision-making processes in the context of urban spatial and green space planning. Elements of mosaic governance, intergenerational and social justice, and youth inclusion in urban planning will also be central pieces of the project.

The project is part of the research projects CO-CARBON and Planning With Youth, which is financed by the Finnish Academy of Science and the Swedish research council FORMAS.
