Responsibilities/Job Description
You will be employed in the Cellular Network Biology group with reference to Prof. Lars Juhl Jensen. The group develops state-of-the-art tools for generation and analysis of molecular interaction networks from proteomics data and text mining, which we make freely available to the scientific community.
Tasks include:
- Developing scripts to combine and integrate interaction data from, e.g., experimental sources and automatic text mining
- Developing a pipeline to automatically transfer both intraspecies and interspecies interactions to host–parasite protein pairs based on homology
- Scoring and assessing the quality of the resulting host–parasite interaction networks through benchmarking against current knowledge
- Documenting the code base to make it usable by others
