In addition to the preparation and execution of Statistical Analysis Plans for specific projects, with results intended as internal safety reports or publications in peer-reviewed journals, this will involve giving seminars or contributing to teaching on methodological and statistical topics.

Depending on the applicants experience and interests, there will be many opportunities for the applicant to engage in scientific publications connected to these projects, or possible to combine this work with an independent line of research in applied biostatics.

The position will be funded by independent academic research grants for prognosis and comparative safety and effectiveness studies of recent immunomodulatory drugs for inflammatory bowel diseases, and via agreements with pharmaceutical industry concerning drug monitoring of current treatments for inflammatory bowel diseases.
