SDU Biotechnology section at Department of Green Technology, Faculty of Engineering, University of Southern Denmark (SDU) invites applications for one 16-month post doc position in bioimaging. The position is funded by a Danish Funding source. The post doc position is available from 1st of July 2023 or as soon as possible thereafter.
The project concerns imaging of mammalian cells and bacteria using state of the art fluorescence imaging.
The successful applicant for the post doc position should have:
- D. in science, engineering, pharmaceutical sciences, biophysics or a related specialization.
- The ideal candidate for the position already has experience with one or more of the following subjects: Bioimaging, biophysics, cell culture, analysis of fluorescence microscopy images and membrane proteins. The candidate must expect to be working with all of these areas during the post doc project and will get the sufficient training in the subjects that he or she is not familiar with.
