Qualification Details

You have academic qualifications at PhD level, preferably within one complex imaging and stemm cells. As a person, you are ambitious, take ownership and possess good communication and interpersonal skills. We expect you to be fluent in oral and written English. In order to be assessed as qualified for a Postdoc position, you must meet these academic criteria.

Responsibilities/Job Description

As Postdoc in professor Morten Nielsen research group, your position is primarily research-based but may also involve teaching assignments. You will contribute to the development of the department through research of high international quality. In your daily work, you will work closely with colleagues on your project, where you will receive supervision and guidance.Your main tasks will consist of:

  • Independent research of high international quality, including publication.
  • Light sheet microscopy, stem cells, blood brain barrier models, confocal imaging

You will report to the Head of Department Thomas G. Jensen and professor Morten Nielsen.

About the Project

The position will focus on human BBB models based on iPSC which will be used to study trafficking of receptors and transcytosis of antibodies. Due to the short project time, knowledge with iPSC derived human BBB models as well as light sheet is mandatory. We prefer that you also have skills regarding receptor trafficking in and complex fluorescent imaging like spinning disk. The job will require traveling and work in external site in Copenhagen area, where a not define amount of traveling time is expected.
