Qualification Details

Candidates should have their PhD related to at least one of the following research areas:

- hybrid control of robotic systems

- multi-robot control systems

- formal methods for robot control synthesis.

The successful applicant should have an outstanding research and publication record. Experience with real robotic experiments is desirable. Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills are a requirement. We are looking for a strongly motivated person, who is able to work independently, as well as within a research group. Excellent command of English orally and in writing is required to publish and present research results.

It is an advantage if the doctoral degree or an equivalent foreign degree, has been obtained within the last three years prior to the application deadline.

Responsibilities/Job Description

We invite applications for up to two candidates for a postdoctoral scholar in the general field of hybrid control of robotic systems. The successful candidates will join a research group that is focusing on new control design methodologies for multi-agent systems combining tools from distributed control theory, hybrid systems and formal verification methodologies from computer science.

Location: Stockholm

EU Citizens on scholar or private funding need to bring a certificate showing EHIC insurance (a comprehensive medical- and health insurance) from the home country, which must cover during the full stay in Sweden.

Without this certificate you may only remain three months in Sweden and will not be able to register as a residence in Sweden.

The responsibility for the comprehensive insurance is strictly on the applicant.
