Responsibilities/Job Description

We live in a digital society. People and organizations depend on the ubiquitous availability of data provided by connected digital devices and other computer systems. Therefore, they have to rely on the security, privacy and trust of data handled by these systems. To get access to valuable data, these systems are continuously under threat of attacks, unintentionally initiated by normal users or intentionally by hackers, criminals but also companies and nation states. It is therefore of key importance that data is stored, transmitted and processed in a secure, trusted, resilient and privacy-aware way, and – accepting that we live in a world where attacks remain a major threat – are able to detect, respond to and recover from data attacks.
