The Department of Food and Resource Economics (IFRO) at the University of Copenhagen invites applications for a two-year postdoc position from the 1st November 2023 or as soon as possible thereafter.
The postdoc should work in the field of philosophy of science with a focus on understanding practices within natural and medical sciences and applied social science. There should be special focus on norms and practices relating to research integrity.
The ideal candidate has a PhD-degree in philosophy, science studies, or similar fields. Moreover, the following qualifications would be preferred:
- knowledge on philosophy of science in practice in relation to natural and medical sciences and applied social science
- knowledge about the development of the field of research integrity and related institutions
- documented research experience in relations to the mentioned areas of knowledge
- experience in teaching and organizing courses in research integrity at all levels
- experience in developing teaching materials for courses in philosophy of science and research integrity
The postdoc’s duties will include research within research integrity based on social science methods as well as teaching and will be a part of the section of Consumption, Bioethics and Regulation. The post may also include performance of other duties.
