General Details
Requirements for PhD admission
- Your academic qualifications are the most important admission criterion: you must be familiar with the methodology and theory of your field of study.
- There is also an educational requirement. A Dutch master's degree (old-style doctorate) or an equivalent foreign degree is required. Not every international preparatory and/or master's program will grant you immediate admission to the Dutch PhD track. This will be assessed individually for each application.
- As English is the working language in science, PhD candidates must have a C1 level.
Please read the job description(s) carefully for any additional criteria.
